Welcome to Heritage Funeral Centre Heritage Funeral Centre is family owned and has been in operation since 1997.  It is the largest single level funeral home in Canada and boasts large and spacious visitation rooms and coffee lounges, as well as a parking for over 200 cars. My family is proud to have been involved in the funeral business for over 86 years.  Although a death in the family is one of the most difficult times one will ever have to face, I am confident the staff at Heritage Funeral Centre will offer professional guidance and support in all the necessary decisions and arrangements.  Ralph Day & O'Connor Bros. Funeral Homes join Heritage In October 2007, our sister chapel, The Ralph Day Funeral Home, moved to join operations with Heritage. In February 2009, and after 85 years on the Danforth, the O’Connor family decided to sell their funeral business to Heritage. Announcements July 2010 For the second year in a row, Heritage was awarded the Diamond Award as "Best Funeral Home" in the East York / North Riverdale Mirror newspaper. Equally exciting is that we were also awarded the Diamond Award in the Beach / South Riverdale paper after winning the Platinum Award last year. June 2010 Heritage Funeral Centre is awarded the 2009 "Best in Town" Silver award in the Toronto Funeral Home category by The Town Crier.  We are honoured and very pleased to receive this recognition from the readers of The Town Crier.  As alwalys, we strive to exceed the expectations of each and every family we serve. February 2009 O'Connor Bros Funeral Home joins Heritage Family In February 2009, and after 85 years on the Danforth, the O’Connor family decided to sell their funeral business to Heritage Funeral Centre. We are very pleased to announce that the O’Connor Bros. funeral business is now part of the Heritage family On March 8th, 2009, to commemorate this occasion, Heritage  re-named a chapel as the “O’Connor Bros. Chapel” to honour the three generations of the O’Connor family for their outstanding funeral service to generations of families they have served and for their exemplary service and support of the Catholic Church.
