We recently became aware of misinformation circulating in the community stating we have sold, or are selling our property to Costco for development of a future gas bar. While this may be their desire, it is simply not true.
There are no discussions concerning a possible sale nor have we entered into any agreement with Costco regarding the sale of our building or property. We remain fully committed to serving the funeral needs of our community. As a testament to our commitment, we have recently undergone very extensive renovations at a significant cost. The only plan we have is to finish our renovations, expand our parking lot and continue to serve our community as best we can.
We thank those who have brought this misinformation to our attention. I hope my message is clear. However if you have any questions or concerns, please call and I'd be happy to speak with you.
Heritage Funeral Centre has undergone some extensive renovations in the last year. We are proud to present a Virtual Tour of our newly renovated facilities. Click here for the tour!
Heritage Funeral Centre is family owned and has been in operation since 1997. It is the largest single level funeral home in Canada and boasts large and spacious visitation rooms and coffee lounges, as well as a parking for over 200 cars.
My family is proud to have been involved in the funeral business for over 86 years. Although a death in the family is one of the most difficult times one will ever have to face, I am confident the staff at Heritage Funeral Centre will offer professional guidance and support in all the necessary decisions and arrangements.
Ralph Day & O'Connor Bros. Funeral Homes join Heritage
In October 2007, The Ralph Day Funeral Home moved to join operations with Heritage. In February 2009, and after 85 years on the Danforth, the O’Connor family decided to sell their funeral business to Heritage. We are very pleased that the O’Connor Bros. funeral business is now part of the Heritage family. Thank you for taking the time to visit our web site. As we are constantly looking for ways to improve this service, we would appreciate your comments and suggestions.
